WV American Water Bill Pay

Welcome to MyWater, your online account management portal for West Virginia American Water. Here, you can easily pay your water bill, view your account balance, turn your service on/off, sign up for alerts, view your water usage, and set up paperless billing.

Pay Your Bill

To pay your water bill, log in to MyWater using your email address and password. Once logged in, you can view your current bill and select the “Pay Now” button to make a payment. You can choose to pay using your bank account, credit card, or debit card.

If you haven’t registered for an account yet, you can do so by clicking on the “Create Account” button on the MyWater login page. Once your account is created, you can log in and pay your bill instantly.

Payment Options

West Virginia American Water offers several payment options to suit your needs. Apart from paying online through MyWater, you can also pay by phone, mail, or in person.

Phone Payment

To pay your bill by phone, call 1-855-748-6066 and follow the prompts to enter your account number and payment information. You can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or your bank account (Electronic Check) to make the payment.

Mail Payment

To pay your bill by mail, send a check or money order along with the payment stub to:

In Person Payment

You can also pay your bill in person at any of our authorized payment locations across the state. To find a payment location near you, visit the West Virginia American Water website and click on “Payment Locations” under the “Customer Service” section.

Third-Party Payment

If someone handles paying your bills, such as a relative, trustee, or social service organization, we can send a copy of your bill, as well as a reminder, past-due and shut-off notices, to that third party. To add a third-party, visit MyWater or contact our customer service center at 1-800-685-8660, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Managing Your Account

MyWater allows you to manage your account easily online. You can view your water usage and compare it to your neighborhood average, sign up for Auto Pay and Paperless Billing, and track your water usage. Visit MyWater today and take control of your water account!

Invoices in Braille, Large Print or Audio

Customers can request to receive their West Virginia American Water bill in Braille, large print or as an audio file by contacting our Customer Service Center. Please note that customers requesting an alternate format will continue to receive their regular print format or paperless bill on time. The alternate formatted bill will be sent 7-10 business days after.
