Paying Your Dominion Energy Bill: A Guide

Dominion Energy offers various ways to pay your energy bill, and this guide will walk you through each option. Whether you prefer to pay online, by phone, or in person, we’ve got you covered.

Online Payment Options

Pay My Bill

You can pay your Dominion Energy bill online for free through their website. Simply register or sign in to your account, choose “Payment” from the left navigation, and select “From Your Bank Account.” You’ll need your routing number and bank account number to make a payment.

AutoPay

Both residential and business customers can enroll in AutoPay for free! With AutoPay, payments are automatically deducted from the account you choose. You can choose the most convenient day to make your payment and change your AutoPay day if you need to. There are no fees.

To enroll in AutoPay, sign in to your account and select “AutoPay” from the left navigation. If you’re a first-time user, you can register online. You can also change the bank account used for payment up to the day before your next scheduled AutoPay payment.

Card or Digital Payment Method

Make a payment using your credit/debit card or a Digital Payment Method (PayPal and Amazon Pay) (English & Spanish). Transaction fees apply, and you can make up to five (5) payments in three (3) days or up to ten (10) payments in 30 days.

In Person Payment Options

Payment Centers

Pay at one of the many payment centers authorized by Dominion Energy. A convenience fee of $1.50 will apply per transaction and must be paid in cash.

• Checks (including personal checks, traveler’s checks and cashier’s checks)*
• Pin-based debit cards (Walmart and Kroger locations)

Pay your energy bill by mailing in a check to one of the addresses below:

Important Note: Paper checks are converted to an electronic transaction at the point the payment is processed. When you send us a check through US Mail, you authorize Dominion Energy to convert your paper check into an electronic debit, which instructs your financial institution to transfer funds in the amount of your payment from your account to us.

Automatic Clearing House (ACH) for Businesses

Make a payment via electronic transfer from one bank account to another. There’s no service charge for ACH payments.

Please Note:

• The customer or financial institution must send payments and data (customer account number and amount) via ACH in Corporate Trade Exchange (CTX) or Cash Concentration and Disbursement Plus (CCD+) file format. Dominion Energy’s bank will reject any other format, resulting in delays in payment postings.
