In this guide, we will discuss the various ways to pay your Coast Electric bill and provide step-by-step instructions for each method.
Online Payment Portal
Coast Electric offers an online payment portal for its members. You can access this portal through the Coast Electric website or by visiting https://billing.coastepa.com/onlineportal/. once you’re logged in, you can view your bill, make a payment, and even set up automatic payments.
To make a payment through the online portal, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account using your username and password.
- Click on the “Bill Pay” button.
- Select the payment method you wish to use (credit/debit card or e-check).
- Enter the payment amount and confirm.

Text Pay
Coast Electric also offers a text pay feature that allows you to pay your bill using your mobile device. To use this feature, you must have a mobile number associated with your account.

- Text “Join” to 352667.
- Receive the welcome message and text “Start.”
- Text “Pay” to pay your bill.
- Enter the payment amount and confirm.

Kiosks
Coast Electric has installed kiosks at all of its office locations for members who want to make payments after business hours or for those who want to skip the line in the lobby. Kiosks accept cash, credit/debit cards, or checks. You will need your member number, including the numbers after the dash, to access your account.
Auto Pay
Never worry about paying your bill on time again with Coast Electric’s auto-pay feature. This feature allows you to set up an automatic deduction from your checking account or credit/debit card each month.
To set up auto-pay, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account using your username and password.
- Click on the “Bill Pay” button.
- Select the payment method you wish to use (credit/debit card or e-check).
- Enter the payment amount and confirm.

Checkout at Local Retail Stores
Coast Electric has partnered with Checkout, a convenient, cash-based payment application that allows members to pay their bills using a Checkout barcode and cash at more than 50,000 retail locations across the country. CVS, Dollar General, and Family Dollar are all Checkout locations. Other participating retailers can be found by clicking “find locations” and entering a zip code.
To make a payment using Checkout, follow these steps:
- Locate a participating retailer near you.
- Bring your Coast Electric bill and cash payment.
- Show the cashier your bill and ask them to scan the barcode.
- Pay the cashier the amount due on your bill.
- Confirm that the payment was successful.

Drop Boxes
